Seeing The World's End last weekend made me go looking for Hot Fuzz fic, and I nearly died laughing at some sections while reading "Hard Cheese" (part 1 and part 2).

I knew Hot Fuzz had a lot of foreshadowing and Chekhov's guns when I first saw it, but repeated watching shows that there are tons of examples of more foreshadowing and Chekhov's guns. Even the name of the ginger-haired kid at the end!

Hot Fuzz is a really funny movie and very well done. It has all the action cliches and adds more funny and over-the-top moments. How many films would introduce its perfectionist action man protagonist to Adam Ant's "Goody Two Shoes ( Read more... )
